Located in the main square in the heart of Lytham, The Deacon takes pride of place in the old RBS bank. Originally the Williams Deacon Bank, whose roots can be traced back to the 1700s, it was and still is an integral part of Lytham's history and housed in a very distinctive building, so we were determined to preserve the memory of this historic bank.
Our menu offers everything from small plates, salads, sandwiches, nibbles and Sunday roasts, whilst combining classic pub favourites like fish & chips, home made pies with gluten-free and vegan options across the board. Whether in the thick of it or our refurbished garden with fire pit, the chefs are ready to serve food fresh & from the heart.
We pride ourselves on delivering world class drinks. From international whiskeys, classic and new world wines & champagnes, beers and ciders, classic cocktails and gourmet style hot drinks. Including our very own Deacon Lager, piped through impressive copper pipes — our precious beer kept safe behind bars in the original vault.
Every Friday & Saturday from 9pm, we open the floor to live music from the best local & regional artists. The Sunday club is in full swing from 6:30pm, designed to get you singing along, dancing and remembering the classics. All free entry, every weekend.
